Air Jordan 1 (I) - Father’s Day

Earlier this week, we reported on Air Jordan 1(I) Military, which gave tribute to Michael Jordan’s brother, Ronnie Jordan. The Jordan Brand is set to release an Air Jordan 1 (I) dedicated to perhaps the most important person in Michael Jordan’s life, his deceased father, James Raymond Jordan Sr. Here is a preview of the Air Jordan 1 (I) - Father’s Day which features a black and white upper along with a black and white tweed toebox and midpanel.

The Air Jordan 1 (I) - Father’s Day feature the form of a toolbox embroidery at the heel. The symbolism of the toolbox itself may have contributed to Michael’s signature “tongue wag”. His tongue wag came from his father who hung his tongue out of his mouth while working. MJ also won his fourth championship on Father’s Day the year that his father was murdered.
